"Bari is a beautiful city, but I find the traffic to be a downside. Local drivers do not follow the rules - they run red lights, drive on bicycle paths, and do not let through pedestrian crossings. There were several occasions when a car almost hit me or my partner. It would be worth looking into this issue."

"I came in from Durres on the GNV. It was the worst experience EVER. I paid over $200 for a pet cabin although my dog is a Certified Psychiatric Service Dog. The rate of $200 was so far out of the realm of what was received in return for that amount of money. The way I had to enter the ferry was from another world. Lugging my suitcase and a dog up an improperly sized ramp of varying surfaces with my dog while cars were flying by me. I have never seen anything so inhumane. Anyway, I canceled my ticket for the return home and am flying to Tirana. The second worst part was arriving into CUSTOMS. There was a line backed up to forever and it did not move for at least 20 minutes. I am assuming the office doesn't open until 9:00 and then when it did open the line took forever with NO AIRCONDITIONING. Horrible! The city is beautiful and I had a wonderful time. My only complaint is the taxi / uber situation. I don't like hopping in taxis as I never know if I'm getting ripped off. Each time I got an uber it was VERY expensive. Bari should advertise an app or show the best ways to get a taxi. "
