Great public transport offer that allows to visit the area from/to Bari easily and affordable price. I am a sigle woman travelling alone and always felt secured in Bari and other surrounding places. The old city of Bari is beautiful. Great number of bars, restaurants, shops.

Some places I have visited (not especially Bari but Torre a Mare for example) were very dirty. Rubbish everywhere notably on the beaches. Pity. Landmarks could be better indicated (how to go to) and the entry fee was sometimes expansive for what it the place to offer (castello svevo ticket bought online on official website with additional cost for audio guide that consisted actually in using my own phone….). Overall, I had a nice time in Puglia. "

"Bari è una città bellissima e il fermento e il lavoro che si prepongono di renderla ancora migliore sono tangibili.
L'unico problema che ho avuto è l'impossibilità di reperire informazioni sul servizio di trasporto pubblico, affidandomi a Google Maps che mi ha fornito orari e posizioni sbagliate.
Per il resto complimenti (detto da una turista riminese, che di accoglienza ne da qualcosa!)"

"Bari is a nice place to visit for a few days. Transport is inexpensive and reliable to get to other places. Trains are also clean. "
