"To whom it may concern,
I am writing to share my feedback following my recent visit to Bari. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive, and there are several critical areas that significantly impacted my stay:
Public Transport and Infrastructure: The transportation system is confusing and unreliable. Information regarding bus stops (especially around Bari Centrale and Via Giuseppe Capruzzi) is poorly displayed, leading to missed departures and general frustration. Navigating the connection to places like Alberobello was unnecessarily difficult due to the lack of clear signage and coordination.
Safety and Cleanliness: The area surrounding the central station (Bari Centrale) felt unsafe and was noticeably poorly maintained. The presence of suspicious individuals and the overall lack of cleanliness in such a key transit hub create a very negative first impression for any visitor.
Tourist Experience in the Old Town: While Bari Vecchia has potential, it is currently dominated by "tourist traps." I encountered overpriced establishments with mediocre food quality and, in some cases, indifferent or unprofessional service. It is disappointing to see authentic culture being overshadowed by commercial exploitation.
General Atmosphere: The city felt chaotic and lacked the organization expected of a major European tourist destination. The aggressive traffic and poorly managed public spaces made it difficult to enjoy the city’s landmarks.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve the experience for future travelers. As it stands, I find it difficult to recommend Bari as a stress-free travel destination."

" Bari è sempre viva ed accogliente, anche in febbraio: fa piacere veder rispettare le regole, si rischiano multe per il parcheggio ma va bene così, la prendi 1 volta, poi impari. Spero che il lungomare diventi ancora più lungo e green, è il miglior biglietto da visita della città!"

"La domenica tutti i negozi del centro sono chiusi e anche molti bar e ristoranti. Quello limita molto un turista a ritornare"

"Bari and the cities in Apulia are definitely worth seeing. There's a lot to discover and incredibly delicious food. It's a shame that people smoke everywhere (even vaping on the train) and throw their cigarette butts on the ground."
