"Piacevole sorpresa. Centro storico curato, con chiese di notevole interesse artistico. Presenza di eventi culturali. Opportunità di vedere e apprezzare il Salone delle Muse del teatro Petruzzelli. Un colpo d'occhio veramente significativo.
Lungomare gradevole con alba spettacolare. Molto interessanti le architetture liberty dei palazzi novecenteschi.
Chiudo con un plauso all'esperienza enogastronomica. Splendido fine settimana, caratterizzato da un clima ottimale. Un po' di fortuna non guasta mai. Un saluto a tutti i pugliesi."

"The people are my people, kind and generous. But as an Italian, I am embarrassed by the debris on the streets. Garbage cans and refuse lays uncollected on the streets. Cigarette butts everywhere. Traffic is chaotic and stop signs are only a suggestion. Signage for buses and trains is nonexistent or confusing. I’ve visited Italy on many occasions and I’m used to it however it’s not getting better. It’s sad when my friends ask about Italy and I have to advise them to overlook the debris, graffiti and refuse when they travel to Italy. Look beyond that and you’ll enjoy your trip. "
