"Sera.il mio unico dispiacere e stato vedere la spiaggia Pane e Pomodoro...sporca..non perché non viene pulita,anzi viene pulita .ma sono le persone a sporcarla..io in persona ho rimproverato una ragazza che puliva il suo zaino e usava la spiaggia come cestino!Ho visto piu controllo dell ultima volta da parte della polizia municipale."

"Bari is beautiful. I can see why people use Bari as a base because it's not far to do day trips to other spectacular places such as Matera and Alberobello. Bari was fantastic. I would return there. We had a rental car so made it easy to get around. Parking is not a problem in Bari life most other places in Italy. Bravo Bari."

"Is totally unsafe as a pedestrian in Bari. There is no order or limits in traffic, unfortunately. The drivers has their own rules totally different then Europa or even world. "

"The people of Bari are very welcoming and friendly. The Old City is nice enough, but difficult to navigate. Some map plaques or directions to the main spots (like the large main square) would be helpful. The modern city is just an endless sprawl of indistinguishable streets in grid lines. There’s no real “centre” to define it. We found it very hard to find somewhere to eat… for breakfast or for dinner. Maybe we were just in the wrong areas? The places we did find however were very good and great value for money which was excellent. Menus also generally had English versions which I found surprising for Italy. Public transport is good, clean and modern, but hard to navigate for foreigners (where to buy tickets, how much). The biggest downside for us is that the city smells of piss and garbage. The latter presumably from the large garbage dumpsters on each street; the former, who knows? I really wanted to like Bari… the beach at Pane e Pomodoro was nice (regular announcements over loudspeakers about protecting your valuables and free digital security lockers are an excellent idea). San Francesco Lido was also very good. We just found everything in between a little bit uninspiring and samey."
