"Non ho usufruito del trasporto pubblico quindi non posso lasciare una recensione in merito a quel punto.
Bari vecchia è incantevole e ho trovato persone molto cortesi. Qualche cestino per l'immondizia in più e qualche ciclabile sarebbero la ciliegina sulla torta."

"My wife and I travelled from Australia to Italy and stayed in Bari for 30 days. We used Bari as a base for travels into other areas of Puglia. Many of the locations we visited we travelled by train. The Trains were excellent clean fast and efficient. So much better than in Australia. We were in Bari for the whole of the month of May, so we were present for many festivals. Even though the crowds were very large we did not feel unsafe at all. It was the best time to be in Bari as the city looked beautiful at night time. We ran each morning along the promanade and swam at the beach. The beach was always clean each day the workers doing a great job. We lived near Piazza Francesco Carabellese, and found this area and its people loverly and wwelcoming. We respected the locals spoke as much Italian as possible and were well recieved. We just loved the culture of everyone. The coffee shops and bars were very good especially Bar Viola, Pizzeria nonna Teresa, Enoteca Del Centro Bari and Madò | Vineria di quartiere. The longer we stayed the more at home we felt. Phillip and Lynette Australia"

"The public transport was confusing. Instead of train there were substitution buses (when we were going to the airport), and I believe it was a little bit confusing how it worked. We didn't get informed about a normal bus (number 16) that goes to the airport, which was also cheaper. However the man, who was in charge of the substitution buses, helping people to find the right bus, was very kind and helpful, despite the fact he couldn't speak English that well, he was very helpful, telling everything in multiple ways, so we could get on the right bus."

"city is beautiful , needs to be clean around the tourist area. My hotel MADA'S APARTMENT DELUXE was a disaster. City needs to review permit to operate in Bari."

"When I left the city on 31 May in the morning, all the trains from Bari Centrale to Bari Airport were cancelled!! There were no taxis, all the people had to take bus. The bus was so crowded that we barely could breath. And I nearly miss the plane!! Thanks to air company, they waited for late passengers. It was really terrible experience in Bari. (((())"
