"Bari è una città meravigliosa, vivace e accogliente! Le persone sono gentilissime, gli autisti degli autobus molto disponibili e i ristoranti eccellenti. Ci siamo sentiti sempre al sicuro, anche passeggiando per le strade la sera. Una bellissima destinazione che consiglio senza esitazione! ❤️🇮🇹"

"There were some sketchy places but there were carabiners doing checks on sketchy looking people, making the city feel safer.
Cleanliness was better than my previous trip a few years ago but some spots still reek of urine."

"Bari vecchia è eravigliosa. Abbiamo dimorato presso una delle case in b&b tra le vie e le persone del luogo. Amiamo vivere come chi vive nei luoghi visitati. La pulizia è eccellente. Il grosso problema però è che la gente di Bari si permette di sporcare all'inverosimile il lungomare ed altre zone, cosicchè l'indomani mattina si devono fare pulizie delle strade e del lungomare che richiedono molto tempo. Se le persone venissero educate diversamente, a gettare i rifiuti nel cestino anzichè per terra, ci sarebbe molto meno lavoro la mattina e meno denaro speso per pulire. I trasporti non li abbiamo usati perchè avevamo un'auto a noleggio. Non sappiamo giudicare in modo realistico. Grazie :)"

"Our stay in Puglia was wonderful overall, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately, a few things left a negative impression.
The first was our experience with the rent-a-car company at the airport upon arrival. The level of service was very poor, and the staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful.
The second was that we accidentally left a charger at the villa we had rented. The people managing the property did not even send us a message to let us know, despite knowing that we were still staying in the area and could easily have picked it up.
We were also quite surprised by how few people speak English in such a popular tourist destination. Some people seemed to understand English but would reply only in Italian, while others did not understand English at all. This sometimes made even simple communication unnecessarily difficult.
Apart from these issues, we had a fantastic time in Puglia, and Alberobello absolutely stole our hearts. We love Alberobello and would happily come back! ❤️"
