"My experience in Bari was wonderful. It ended on negative note though when the Avis car agency would not honor my car reservation as I did not have an international license. I learned that it is a law. But this location seems like the only place in Italy that enforces it. I went to the airport and picked one up there."

"We loved the historic centre of Bari, and the atmosphere in the evening with large choice of restaurants and terraces on several squares.
Tip for improvement: when arriving with late evening flight at Bari, there is no public transport to the city centre, and too little quantity of taxis, leading to a waiting queue of over an hour. "

"Please give more information in English in city's public transport - buses etc. It is difficult to find places where you can buy tickets for a city bus. You should also think about some information in Polish as you have more tourist from that country."

"The old city is very beautiful as it was expected. But the new town is also very nice and they keep it very clean. I felt very safe during my stay. The food is known that it is great and the prices still reasonable. I hope that it remains a hidden gem and does not get over crowed like other cities in Italy "
