"We loved Bari...The contrast between old and new. Bari itself offered so many places of interest and it was a great place to explore other areas of the Puglia region and only one hour by bus to the not to be missed Matera. We are very very glad that we chose Bari as our base for four nights. The public transport was very good but the trains a little behind schedule sometimes. Everything else made up for that though. The basilica di Santa Nicola was a beautiful church to visit. You have a beautiful city!"

"I can't rate the public transport, because we used a rental car.
Our trip was to the region of Apulia. Even though the stay was very pleasant, our goal was to visit the cultural sites. Another trip is therefore not likely in the near future."

"We were coming back to our place by bus number 27. And we didn't notice and entered the bus "2/". Of course, we got stuck in a conversation and didn't notice we were in a wrong bus, until it was too late. Bus driver took care of us, explained us everything, calmed us down and showed us how to get back to our place. Thank you kind sir, driver of the bus number "2/". "
