"The stay in Bari was unforgettable. The old town of Bari is rich in antiquities from different eras, which testifies to the continuity of life from distant prehistory to the present day. We are fascinated by the richness of the exhibits of the Archaeological Museum as well as the way they are presented. Castel Svevo is also intriguing and unforgettable with its reprint setting. The complex of St. Nikolas is impressive as well as the Cathedral... and above all we are delighted with the life of the people in the Old Town, their kindness and hospitality. I would single out the picturesque small green markets of fresh fruit and vegetables, dried tomatoes and cili pepers, hand-prepared pasta from the grain of the Puglia region, delicious home-made cakes, savory and sweet that you can treat yourself in cafes and bistros. New Bari is a charming town with wide and beautifully decorated corsoways with many restaurants and many shops with beautiful window designs and friendly salespeople. I must point out that Bari is well connected by city and regional transport."
