"Bari is a surprisingly beautiful city. Last year when we first visited it, we had chosen it more as a base for our trips to Alberobello, Matera, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, etc. It turned out that it was well worth visiting for itself. That is why we have returned this year and enjoyed the charm and autenthicity of Bari Vecchia, the warmth of the local people, the beauty of Lungomare and of the beach (Pane e pomodoro), the tasty food and the good shopping opportunities. Undoubtedly, this was NOT our last visit to Bari. There will be more. "

"We had a reservation for the ferry. But we had to go to Mariposa to check in. We waited one and a half hour for the shuttle. It did not come. Taxi costs: 20. Euro. This was not good."

"Sera.il mio unico dispiacere e stato vedere la spiaggia Pane e Pomodoro...sporca..non perché non viene pulita,anzi viene pulita .ma sono le persone a sporcarla..io in persona ho rimproverato una ragazza che puliva il suo zaino e usava la spiaggia come cestino!Ho visto piu controllo dell ultima volta da parte della polizia municipale."
