"Was a very nice trip to Bar, visited the station Nicola and the concert from "Zucchero" :-) .. Taxi is the preferred transportation for us - worked very well. Rent a car for 1 day and visited other villages (i.e. Home of Trullis, beach etc etc.) .. will come back!"

"Se prevedete di chiudere una piazza per un evento sarebbe opportuno segnalarlo nelle ore precedenti con una adeguata nastratura o con dei cartelli almeno sul parcometro dove le persone si recano a pagare il parcheggio e possono leggere l’informazione, non soltanto su un cartello stradale nascosto, grazie."

"Bari mi è sembrata una bellissima città. Ho trovato gentilezza e buon cibo. Mi è però dispiaciuto molto vedere tanta sporcizia: immondizie lungo le strade, sacchi di rifiuti lasciati dalla gente sulla spiaggia... Inoltre il traffico delle auto sul lungo mare sminuisce la bellezza del luogo. "

"In Bari, I only visited the old town and also spent some time at the city beach — the one closest by, if you walk along past the Art Museum. I didn’t explore the newer part of the city, the area that was built around 100-200 years ago. The old town definitely has its charm, but on the other hand, we also visited Monopoli, which we liked much more — partly because the city felt so much cleaner. In Bari, everything seemed a bit dirtier.
We honestly didn’t enjoy the food in the city center, especially in the old town. The city has its own atmosphere, and I do love Italy — I really like Naples, and I was truly enchanted by Monopoli and Grottaglie. Even though there are lots of empty houses there, everything still feels clean.
In general, I prefer places that are a bit less touristy. For example, I liked Monopoli and Grottaglie more than Ostuni or Polignano a Mare. Ostuni just felt like one big cafeteria — everywhere was just tables and places to eat.
Speaking of food, you can often find better meals in less touristy places. In highly touristy areas, sometimes the cooks aren’t even Italian.
