"Everything was great with the exception of the train commute from Bari to the airport. Having bought the tickets for a 08.03 train on October 18th and having waited for 20min over the departure time on the train it didn't leave because of some problems as was announced. Passengers were promised that there was a shuttle bus to take us all to the airport however 40min later it never arrived! We wasted over 1h from the declared time with no result, leaving us no other way than to take a taxi (which was not an easy task) to the airport.
It is irresponsible of the train company not to offer a bus right away, considering so many tourists were heading to the airport to catch their flights. "

"Unfortunately, I didn't stay in Bari for long and it rained the day I had to walk around the city. The people were super welcoming and the food was the best I enjoyed on this trip to Italy. The coastline with the lanterns is very beautiful and the old town is graceful. The Basilica di San Nicola and the Castello Svevo are very impressive. The cultural activities at the castle are incredible. "

"Some museums (civico / diocesano) were closed at times when they are normally expected to be open. That's OK, but there was no sign whatsoever at the door of these museums clearly indicating that they were closed. That caused us to waste time trying to find out if they will open or not. "
